One of our favorite things to do in The Maldives is the Seabreacher. The Seabreacher is a high-tech semi-submersible vessel that allows you the freedom to move dynamically through the ocean. This vessel will enable you to dive under and change directions as you carve through the sea, including 360-degree barrel rolls in the water. You must experience the Seabreacher to truly appreciate how it adds a new level to ocean play.

Excursions - Turtle Safari, Dolphin Cruise

Excursions at Sun Siyam Resorts allow you to get out and see the wonders of the islands and the Indian Ocean. You can sign up for several trips we offer, including a turtle safari that takes you up close to these magnificent creatures and a dolphin cruise where you’ll see dolphins cruising effortlessly through the water.

Manta Point

Manta Point is where you can watch the local mantas feed on plankton from a nearby jetty. Seeing these mantas congregate at the point is truly a sight to behold. Fishing

It’s well-known that the Maldives offers excellent options for fishing in the bountiful waters of the Indian Ocean. For example, one of our most popular trips is a sunset fishing trip where we’ll go and catch that evening’s dinner. After we make a catch, we’ll set up a BBQ on a sandbank and grill the fish “Maldivian style” for the group meal. Plus, you can enjoy some music and good conversation under the stars.

Snorkeling safari

One of the best ways to explore the ocean (and the best things to do in the Maldives) is to take a snorkeling safari. The whole family can enjoy these relaxing trips. You only have to grab a snorkel and venture into the beautiful reefs on our atoll. Want to give back to the Maldivian environment? Coral planting is a great way to do your part to protect our beautiful oceans. This activity allows you to help plant new coral in our beautiful and fragile coral reef. Lasting a couple of hours, you’ll get the chance to learn more about the ecosystem of a coral reef while also getting up close and personal with it.

Horse ranch

The Maldives is a fantastic place to take a quick ride. Our well-equipped horse ranch allows you to take guided horse trips led by top-notch instructors and is one of the most enjoyable things to do in the Maldives for couples. Located at Siyam World, this 16,000-square-foot ranch has state-of-the-art facilities where we care for our Marwari breed, Mares, and Stallions. Once you arrive at our horse ranch, we’ll take care of the rest, taking you on a sunset ride along the coast as you take in the island's sites.
