To mark World Turtle Day, we are taking you on an immersive journey to the Atoll Marine Rehabilitation Centre to meet the resilient sea turtles currently under special care.
Your adventure begins in the vibrant turquoise waters of the Kuredu lagoons. On a guided snorkel, you’ll have the chance to observe these creatures in their natural habitat before we head to the mainland to see the vital work being done to protect them.
At the Marine Centre, you will get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the delicate process of rehabilitation, from specialised veterinary treatments to the patient, nurturing methods used to prepare these turtles for their eventual return to the wild.
