Adam Afsan promoted to Director of Sales at Siyam World Maldives

Siyam World Maldives proudly announces the promotion of Adam Afsan to the position of Director of Sales effective from February 2024. With an extensive career spanning over a decade in the hospitality industry, Adam brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role.

Adam joined Siyam World in April 2021 as the Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic vision. Prior to his tenure at Siyam World, Adam served as the Assistant Director of Sales at Soneva Resorts from 2019 to 2020, where he played a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and enhancing brand visibility.

Before his time at Soneva, Adam held the position of Director of Revenue at Kanuhura from 2017 to 2018, where he successfully implemented revenue management strategies to maximize profitability. He also spent almost 5 years at Six Senses Laamu, where he started as a Reservations Executive and progressively advanced through various roles including Assistant Reservations Manager, Reservations Manager, Revenue Manager, and ultimately Sales Manager.

Adam, a Maldivian national, holds a Master of Business Administration degree, further augmenting his business acumen and strategic capabilities. In his new capacity as Director of Sales & Marketing at Siyam World, Adam will lead the sales and marketing teams in the Maldives. He will be responsible for crafting and executing robust sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth. Additionally, Adam will oversee global relationships with key partners to further elevate Siyam World's presence in the market.
